Camille February 2013 "David and Stacie are just lovely. It was quite a surprise to find them and I also have to thank the wonderful Danielle at AirBNB customer service for helping me find them. Long story short, I travel back to my original home of New Orleans from Austin as much as I can to be with family, but it is a very long ride with just me and I usually stay in Houston, which makes the next day drive just that little bit too long. Staying at David & Stacie's home is the perfect midway point between ATX and NOLA and they will certainly see me again. I called AirBNB from the road at about 8pm on the night before Thanksgiving saying I would really like to find a host near Beaumont and Danielle reached out and found me a truly magical little cabin and two wonderful people to take care of this weary traveller. I feel as though I could vacation and as my time was so short, I know there was so much more to explore. Stacie cooked me a great breakfast - delicious bacon, eggs, fresh fruit, waffles with some serious maple syrup and tea. I love tea and really appreciated the wide variety they had to offer. The room was filled with goodies, juices, apples, chocolate and sweets! as well as bottled water which kept me hydrated and seeing as I arrived at their home the day that I found out I was pregnant, not only I but the teeny tiny life inside me were really cared for. I highly recommend David and Stacie and they will likely see me on my return to Austin after the Thanksgiving break! Many thanks, Margo" Margo

were the perfect hosts. It is so nice to have a place I feel welcome
in whilst on the road. My whole experience of future journeys from
Austin to my hometown of New Orleans is so much brighter having a
safe and luxurious spot to break up the drive. Thanks again for your

Margo "After experiencing yet another Louisiana hurricane, it was great to be in a nice quiet relaxing place like Stacie and David's cabin by their pool. Loved their media room and really enjoyed watching movies with seats that vibrated whenever there was a rumble or explosion. Had a great breakfast with them while we shared hurricane stories. They were very nice to us and appreciated our situation." Art "We had a wonderful, comfortable stay with David and Stacie. The pool was delightful and despite the rain (next time we'll check out the fish pond!) we had a relaxing stop and a lovely meal. It was so nice to sleep under a beautiful quilt instead of a hotel bedspread. And to top things off, even though the weather was obstructing cell coverage, the internet was blazing fast and I was able to do all my communicating in record time. We will definitely be back!"
